白卡纸是用于供印刷名片、封皮、证书、请柬及包装装潢用的卡纸，白卡纸为平板纸，其尺寸主要为：880mm*1230mm，787mm*1032mm。按质量水平白卡纸分为A、B、C三等。

白卡纸较厚实坚挺，定量较大，其定量有200g/m2、220g/m2、250g/m2、270g/m2、300g/m2、400g/m2等多种规格。白卡纸紧度通常不小于0.80 g/m3，白度要求较高，A、B、C三等的白度分别不小于92.0％、87.0%、82.0%。为防止泅水，白卡纸要求有较大的施胶度，A、B、C三等施胶度分别不小于1.5mm、1.5mm及1.0mm。为了保持纸制品的平整，白卡纸应较厚实坚挺，有较高的挺度和耐破度，对于不同等级不同定量的白卡其挺度有不同的要求，定量越大，等级越高，挺度要求越大，一般纵向挺度应不小于2.10-10.6mN?m，横向挺度应不小于1.06-5.30 mN?m。那面下面我们讲一下他们三种的耐破指数以及哪些是需要注意的。
